Welcome, I’m Kelly I am the mother of two, my daughter is Grace she was born in 2002 and my son is Drake he was born in 2005. I am an interior designer specializing in children’s spaces and the co-owner of Wiggles N Giggles children’s store in
Though I was born with the love of design I studied and obtained my bachelors of Science degree of Interior Design and Construction Management from Minnesota State at Mankato. I began my career at a small design studio in Wayzata, Minnesota working on residential projects; however I found my most inspirational and fun design projects were when I was able to work on the child’s room. I believe there’s nothing more magical than seeing the sparkle in a child’s eyes and hearing their ever so pleased giggle when they first see their new room. The ability to be as fun, whimsical, and colorful as I can be is what creates design passion in me.
My use of color and ability to showcase my client’s personality is the key to my design success. My combination of whimsy, color, window treatments and accessories that flow effortlessly, results nurseries and children’s rooms that are an inspiring place for a child to dream, and grow.
As a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers I have been the recipient of the prestigious Peoples choice award for best use of color and best wall treatment and The Designers choice award for best use of color for the 2004 ASID Showcase House. I have also been featured on Home and Garden Television’s “Room for Change”, The Kare 11 Today Show, Minneapolis St.Paul Magazine, and Window and Walls magazine.
