Potty Training On The Go
Monday, November 26th, 2007When it was time to potty train my daughter I had huge fears of what to do when we were out and about or on our 45 minute commute to work, Yikes! I had bought a Baby Bjorn little potty http://www.wigglesngiggles.com/shop/product/93fb1317-Little_Potty_blue.html and loved it for at home, it’s small enough she could move it around her self and it’s size makes it easy to clean. One day when we were ready to brave a commute diaperless I decided to take the little potty with. I found out that it fits perfectly in the bottom of my stroller so she could use her own potty in a public restroom, which made her really comfortable and encouraged her to keep going on the potty. I also discovered that when we were in the car a little potty chair is great to have on hand, when she really had to go right now!!!! I simply find a safe place to pull over, set the chair on the floor of the car, line the potty chair with a diaper, let her go, use baby wipes for her behind and hands then roll up the diaper and put everything in plastic bag in the trunk. It’s so simple, easy and clean we still use it at age 5, it works great in the boat too!
